Behind the Bilge By Colin Leggo and Jenny Beare In partnership with Carn to Cove
A hilarious character comedy written by Cornish actors and comedians Colin Leggo & Jenny Beare that takes the form of a mock book launch for Edward and Lorraine Bilge - a husband-and-wife ghost-hunting duo, renowned in Cornwall for their paranormal investigations.
As they recount their most thrilling cases, as well as taking actual questions from the audience, their personal and professional lives begin to comically unravel, revealing the absurd realities of their marriage and the challenges of ageing in a niche profession.
Jenny Beare has worked extensively with Cornish theatre companies, including Kneehigh, Wildworks and O'Region. She is also a regular performer in The Cornish Caretakers alongside Edward Rowe.
