Do you ever feel like you'd like to lighten up, be playful and let go?

Come along and play with a hula hoop this International Women’s Day! No pressure! Hoops provided, all are welcome, and no experience is needed.

Under the guidance of Helen Rooney, a hula hoop artist who encourages others to shine their divine sassy light, you’ll quickly master the basics.

You’ll learn and practise the wizardry of flow, and gracefully put it all together as a freestyle dance and make it look and feel effortless.

What do I need to know?

This event is at Helston Old Chapel, Meneage Road, Helston, TR13 8BH.

There is a large pay and display car park opposite the Helston Medical Centre, Trelawney Rd, Helston TR13 8AU. This is a 5-10 minute walk away. It is possible to drop-off and pick-up immediately outside the chapel building.

There is level access from the tarmac path into the side door of the chapel. There is space inside the chapel for wheelchairs. The seating will be on pews. If we can support you at our event in other ways please contact us on hello@trevowhelston.co.uk

Everyone is welcome at this event especially those who identify as a woman, non-binary people, trans women and people who are gender fluid.

We currently have limited facilities at our new venue. Please be aware that we will be using an accessible portaloo for this event.

We estimate a run time of approximately 90 minutes.
