Introducing a local Helston artist

Redial Destination:
One hat or two?

Helston Old Chapel

8pm 6th Septeber 2024

One of the aims of Helston Old Chapel is to support existing and new artists working locally. We are thrilled to welcome to the chapel local artist Si Williams, an experienced musician, with his new solo work: Redial Destination.

"Hi, my name is Si and I'm a Helston-based solo reggae and ska artist."

Redial Destination was born when a magical hat appeared in a local charity shop in Helston, whispering songs and melodys from reggae, ska, westerns and a light sprinkling of classical! (It’s right there hiding in my music!)

The time has come to get this skanking reggae show on the road!

My debut album, Walk Run Jump Ride, released last October includes my most streamed song Breaking the Law. I know what you’re think that’s Judas Priest and I play reggae, well it’s a reggae version. A blend of original material and genre-bending music covering a wide variety of genres including rock, pop and country. Powered by electronic shenanigans, delicious sandwiches and a theremin some expect some silliness and yes there will be a least one costume change!
