Return of the Kernow Chamber Players — Claude Bolling's Jazz Universe (continued) One of our most beloved ensembles returns to Trevow Chapel for another unmissable evening. Kernow Chamber Players have visited our intimate venue three times before — from Dickens to Baroque to Bolling — and each visit has been hugely popular and left audiences wanting more. We are delighted to welcome them back.
This programme is a love letter to Claude Bolling, the French jazz maestro whose remarkable crossover work captivated audiences worldwide and spent a decade on the bestseller charts. Following last year's acclaimed performance of the Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio, the Players return to complete the story.
The incomparable Jenny Farley returns on flute to perform movements of the Suite that time wouldn't allow us last year — a treat for those who were here, and essential for those who weren't.
