Join Cornish language teacher and Kegin Esther presenter Esther Johns for a warm and welcoming evening exploring the surprising connections between cooking, storytelling, and the Cornish language. This intimate gathering (limited to just 20 guests) offers a gentle and joyful introduction to Kernewek, woven through the traditions that have always kept it alive: food shared around a table, and tales passed from one generation to the next.


The evening will feature film clips of cookery and storytelling created with the Lizard-based LAFTA drama group, bringing the language off the page and into vivid, everyday life. Esther will guide you through what you're hearing and seeing, making Kernewek feel accessible, alive, and delicious.
