‘Secrets of the Hidden Realm’ delves into the strange, dark and beguiling world of Cornish folklore, using a blend of storytelling, comedy and ingenious puppetry. It combines a deep reverence for the history and mythology of Cornwall with absurd humour and a dash of Cosmic Horror. With influences including The X Files, Twin Peaks, H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos and The Magnus Archives, ‘Secrets of the Hidden Realm’ is a surreal flight of fancy into a liminal world of magic and mystery.
Cornwall is famous for its picturesque towns and beautiful beaches… but there is another Cornwall lurking below this sunny surface: the Cornwall of folklore and superstition, of magic and myth, of giants, faeries, mermaids, demons, ghosts and witches.
