About the event
Sounds for Peace in Palestine
An evening of spoken word, original songs and healing soundscape in Helston.
A collective of local artists, sharing their sounds and voices with the intention of peace. Giving the many people in our own community who are struggling with the conflicts and divisions in the world a space to feel supported.
The first hour will include poetry from Jos Hadfield and songs by Andy Wilson and Sadie Humble on harp and guitar. After the break Ali Gunning and Sadie will weave the vibrations of drums, gongs, flutes and other elemental instruments; creating a healing, meditative sound journey to conclude the evening.
All proceeds are offered to Choose Love, providing emergency humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Tickets include a piece of delicious cake and tea/ hot chocolate. What do I need to know?
